The Other MA Fashion Show

The energy in the room reminded everyone that fashion is still capable of urgency when people have something real at stake.

Every year CSM MA students are selected to represent their cohort to show during London Fashion Week. Everyone talks about Central Saint Martins and it’s mythology; The machine that creates fashion legends, so this year when eight MA students who weren’t selected for the official runway decided to produce their own show during London Fashion Week, it immediately felt bigger than a graduate presentation.

Led by designer Chris Holland Brandt, The Other MA Show was a powerful reminder of why platforms like this for emerging talent matter and proved that some of the most compelling work emerges not from institutional validation, but from exclusion itself.

The eight designers featured include Amber Pickup, Tiano Tian, Anna Filzmoser, Marie Plucknett, Byungyoon Lee, Ilaria Guerra, Valeriia Krasheninnikova and Chris Holland Brandt.
